Once the spelunking plot is wrapped up, Pearl's sword lessons will start! That should be... Interesting, because I have never handled a sword irl! 8D I'd love to see Cable and Pearl become better friends in general, because they have great social chemistry.

I also am still all for doing more with Cable and Rapunzel, and it might be interesting for him to meet both of the characters I'll be introducing after the plot! One is a preteen inventor (Clemont from the Pokemon X and Y games) and the other is... An adult inventor. And also a superhero. And also also a duck. (Fenton from the Ducktales reboot) I figure either/both of those two guys could get involved with Cable building weapons? Like, Clemont wants to invent all the things, so he'd offer to help. Fenton... Might be a little more cautious about building weapons. He's pretty Lawful Good.

I should have elaborated on the 'weapons' thing. He's also going to be trying to build a teleporter. He had one where he was from, but he only brought the broken timesliding device with him--which is something else they can work on as well!

As stated above, Pearl will start teaching sword lessons once the spelunking plot wraps up, so if you still want Jill to get it on that, that'll be something exciting! And in the meantime, they're in the same exploration team for said plot.

Canon Point: UH... Post-Mr. Greg, but she's also a CR!AU from a game called Empatheias.
What They're Up To: Pearl is going to start teaching lessons in swordfighting soon. She's also trying to navigate the somewhat rocky roads of romance, and she's a member of the Pantropa branch of the X-Force.
What They're Looking For: Pearl needs more friends! I'd especially like to see her get some female or non-binary friends, tbh, because so far most of her CR is male and that's... Admittedly outside of her area of expertise!

Character: Rapunzel
Canon: Tangled/Tangled: the Series
Canon Point: Once Rapunzel returns to Pantropa from her canon update, she'll be taken from the end of the book "Rapunzel and the Lost Lagoon", which serves as a sort of prequel to the Tangled television series, and takes place about a week after Rapunzel returns to Corona. Also, like Pearl, she's a CR!AU from the game Empatheias.
What They're Up To: Adopting people. Seriously, she's got the weirdest found family going on here. She's also all about learning new things, which will soon include learning new things about herself as she tries to figure out why she can't stop thinking about her strong and competent lady-in-waiting in the same way she thinks about her boyfriend.
What They're Looking For: So, as the above kind of implies, I headcanon Rapunzel as polyamorous, and I'd be open to the idea of her stumbling into a romantic relationship in Empatheias, even though I think right now there's no one really appropriate for that. She's also going to come back with short, brown hair and the title of Princess, so confusion and tales to tell are both possible! Mostly, though, she just wants to keep learning and exploring.

Being introduced after the spelunking event:
Character: Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera
Canon: DuckTales
Canon Point: A week or so post-The Shadow War.
What They're Up To: This doesn't really apply since he hasn't been added to the game yet, ICly!
What They're Looking For: Fenton's going to be helping people at every possible turn! Mostly as his superhero alter-ego, GizmoDuck, but also as himself, Fenton the scientist and inventor. He's also very friendly and warms up to people freakishly fast, so there'll be plenty of CR opportunities.

What They're Up To: N/A
What They're Looking For: Like Fenton, Clemont is a scientist and inventor. Unlike Fenton, Clemont is a preteen Pokemon gym leader. And not a Duck. He'll have his three-Pokemon team with him when he arrives, and this setting will spark his scientific curiosity. That said, as he spends most of his days back home training or inventing in his Gym, Clemont could also definitely use some friends, particularly peers. Someone tear the boy away from the lab, please.

What They're Looking For: He's told you all he didn't break your portal. Now that it's fixed, he intends to prove it. Anyone feel like an adventure?

What They're Up To: Working for the Coalition as an OOD Liason, gathering as much information as he can about the world. Lemony is going to be a quasi-NPC in this respect, and he will be a future IC source of setting information.
What They're Looking For: People to help him gather information! I'm going to have him survey folks about their home worlds in the near future, too.

What They're Looking For: Friends! Photo clients! People to talk about spooky things with!
Anything Else? Once the portals are fixed, she wants to go on adventures!

As an NPC, Tom is going to be hanging around the background for the most part. If anyone sets posts in the Engine Room, though, he'll definitely show up... and if you want him for other threads, you can certainly ask, too!

What They're Looking For: Everything. :P Cross-dimensional duck shenanigans with Scrooge and Fenton, but really, everything.

Canon: Oh lordy um. Based off DuckTales 1987 and Disney comics, but truly is an AU I play in a PSL; here's the info on that
Canon Point: Roughly 25-30 years after the end of DuckTales
What They're Up To: Deciding on his first business of many. Learning everything he can about his surroundings. Looking for a more fitting place to live so, he'll probably head into the Badlands, knowing him.
What They're Looking For: He'd bite off his tongue before he admitted it to anyone he's met so far, but he's lonely, and he misses his family back home, so basically any CR ever. He's going to need someone to remove his arm cast eventually (or stop him from injuring himself in his own attempt to). Lastly, down the line he'll need sparring partners, for magic or otherwise.

...Which is to say I definitely want more Rapunzel and Scrooge CR. I'm set on him becoming part of her found family here.

With regards to the others, Pearl's probably going to remain confused for a bit that this a different Scrooge than the one she knew in Emp, but I can easily see them winding up as friends. Fenton... Obviously there needs to be mistaken identity things, but I think Fenton will take it in stride once everything's worked out and try to be a friend to this Scrooge.

And then there's Clemont, who I really think will find Scrooge fascinating and cool? He's so organized and brave! Also he's like a talking Pokemon, but not! I kind of want Scrooge to adopt him, especially since I headcanon that Clemont's dad is the dead villain of Gen 6. I have my reasons.

Rapunzel and Scrooge CR would be SO SWEET, please I need more too. Still becoming friends with Pearl is, I think, a given, and Fenton will be absolutely delicious to see. Bonus: Scrooge knows Spanish, so he and Fenton can sit around talking in Fenton's native(?) tongue. Just for an extra CR possibility bonus. Clemont is also extremely likely to be adopted.

I really want that conversation where it's revealed that Pearl thinks Deadpool is seventeen to happen. Like, so much. Also, Edward and Rapunzel and painting! That still needs to happen, too!

But moving onto newer CR! I want Pearl and Phoebe to be friends so badly, omg, and I do want Raps to meet Eliot, mostly out of slightly morbid curiosity as to how that'd go.

And then there's Gos. Fenton is going to have to meet her in-costume at some point, for all the confusion. But also, Fenton needs to meet Gosalyn, because he'll find her mildly overwhelming but also great, and really be hoping she takes to him, for... Reasons that totally don't involve Drake nope what are you talking about.

And Clemont! Clemont could be her moderately cooler Honker, here. (Sorry, Honker.) Seriously, though, watch out, Gos. He will want to make adjustments to the suit.
