You were minding your own business at home, when the green portal appeared, and by choice or chance, you've been sucked through. Welcome to the Multiverse. Welcome to Dimension 76.

The interdimensional outpost is abandoned when you arrive, save for maybe one or two equally confused souls. All you know is that you can't step back through that round, green gate behind you to your homeworld. Not yet. There's an Information Center full of poorly-photocopied pamphlets on the wall nearby that tells you this is the planet Pantropa, and it's been certified 82% Fresh by the Galactic Federation, whatever that means. A crudely drawn map points you to a transit system hub outside, which will take you to one of two places. Whichever one you choose, the pamphlet insists, you will find comfortable living arrangements until the portals can be brought back online.

You have the sudden, sinking impression that for whatever reason, the portals here break often.

Characters who find themselves on Pantropa can stay as long as they like. If the portals are working, they can even come and go as they please, returning home to get supplies, or whatever they wish. They don't even have to go back to their own dimension, if they'd rather run off gallavanting with a new friend. Of course, those who just want to live out whatever daily life would have in store as a respite from home are welcome ... and anyone with a nose for mystery might find out that Pantropa holds some secrets of its own (and not just the multiverse's best iced tea recipe).
