After some heavy and difficult discussion, the mods have decided to close D76. Even though this game was meant to be one resilient enough to withstand the assault of busy life, it seems that the barricades are falling. We no longer feel that we can give this game the time and attention that all of you deserve, and know that you have other games, memes, and PSLs to fall back on, with CR far more well-established.

We thank you all for joining us here and for your patience and enthusiasm as we tried our hands at modding, and we're sorry we couldn't make it live up to our own expectations, let alone any you may have had. I hope we'll see you all around the DWRP circuit.

First of all, our apologies for a belayed response! We appreciate your patience in the face of RL interference. Also, since this was the first AC check, we have allowed a couple of players who did not formally check in to voice their continued interest to us personally. This will not be accepted at the next Check-In unless there was a genuine emergency or other circumstance which kept someone from replying. (Since this is quarterly, we would hope players would be mindful enough to let us know via PM or Plurk if this may be the case.)

Hi, everyone! A while back, we put a poll out on Plurk to see how people felt about doing a check-in instead of Activity Checks. We don't want AC to be a source of stress, but at the same time, it's good to know if people still feel like sticking around. The verdict was almost unanimous: you all said that a quarterly check would be sufficient.

But before we get to that, there's something else we'd like you to weigh in on: Game Plot!

When we designed D76, we built a base plot that runs through the whole game for players to uncover. Some characters have already seen pieces of this plot, but it's quietly running in the background, as opposed to the few holiday events we've had. We'd like to get your collective feedback on what you want to see in terms of game-wide plot, and how you'd like to see that work.

Also, this is a good place for you to leave any sort of feedback or CR ideas, too. There's a top-level comment for quarterly check-ins with instructions. Please respond to that by March 9th @ midnight EST. Any players who fail to check in will be swept, and need to request a new invitation.

Greetings everyone! My name is Usami, and I'm really excited to be here! I'm bringing an OC, Bridge Sangster-McDuck, or Bridge Nocturne as he goes by onstage. He's from the same world as Zumi's Scrooge, and was even adopted by the old duck (hence the hyphenated name), but from a point farther along in their world than Scrooge is, so that'll be fun.

I'm also bringing Lena de Spell from DuckTales 2017. The catch is she's from before the series, so she doesn't have all the fun development from the show. I can't wait to see what coming here will do for her!

Her role is "lady-in-waiting" to the royals, which basically amounts to "crying heavily about missing her boyfriend and then beating his head in when he returns." But she means well! Usually. Hey, it's Frankie, with two new characters for the new year! ~~There's only one more character I might add in the future. Who thought that point would come, lol!~~

First up, I've got Varian here - but not your canon Varian from the Tangled series. He's still an alchemist, but - inspired by a fanon AU by Kait Ritter; part of the Tangled series crew - he is also a vampire. Specific details on that can be found in a post on his journal, just watch out for content like blood, blood-drinking, and murder. But the simple version is: Varian is a 17 year-old vampire, who still looks 14 because that's when he was turned. However, since his timeline is shifted backwards in this AU, he hasn't met Rapunzel yet - in fact, for him, the Lost Princess of Corona is still lost.

My second addition is a Splatoon OC. Tidal is a 20 year old Inkling skateboarder who is... Quite immature and bratty, but she's not all bad, I promise. Her account can be found at

splattershot and her bio sheet is right here, but be warned that it's a big image that may not load so well on mobile!

Rather than getting a separate introduction post, I'll be introducing Varian directly in the current NYE open post. Tidal will be introduced later.

Hey, everybody. I'm Greta (Or Bun, if you want), some of you have probably played with me before.

I'm bringing in two (2) new characters!

The first one is Donald Duck, because what's a Duck cast without The Duck? This Donald in particular is from the Kingdom Hearts series. Which means he knows magic and is at least 25% more of a sap than your average Donald Duck. Note, I played Donald in Emp for a while, but he's not going to actively have those memories. His heart still probably remembers it, though. (KH metaphysics are fun)

The second character is Luigi (

greenstache ) from the Super Mario Bros. series! He was also in Emp for a while, but I'm just taking him fresh from the end of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

Feel free to have your character recognize them if they'd be familiar with Disney or Nintendo!

Donald's intro will be up within a few days, while Luigi will be showing up after the new years!

He's done his fair share of world-saving alongside Sonic and the rest of their pals, and he's also attended a school existing outside of his world and has learned how to do a few new things. Like turn human when necessary (due to a ring he acquired there), but let's be real, he doesn't need to do that often.

I'd like to also remind you all that it may not be a rule, but it should be common sense: if something is bothering you in any way, please discuss it through the proper channels laid out in the rules as soon as possible. If we don't know something is wrong, we are unable to address it in a timely fashion.

Hello! I am Moony /o/! I am humbled and honored to have been invited to this game and am doubly excited to bring you Lieutenant Harry Sullivan! He's coming right from the end of "Official Secrets" a comic story that has him meeting The Ninth Doctor and one Rose Tyler.

For anyone who may not know, Harry is best known as one of the Fourth Doctor's companions and has met the Eighth (though he doesn't know that) and Ninth (this one he does know) version of the Doctor. He's old fashioned in his manners but with a modern head on his shoulders so far as medicine and technology goes. He's a bit naive even for a companion, but he's rather sweet and willing to take thigns at face value unless you prove him wrong.

There's no AU for him, aside from combining all his canon (comics, novels and television). that's...about it...so, Hi! 8D!

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know about the player plot coming up on October 31st, aka... HALLOWEEN.

That's right, it's a Halloween event! Jack Skellington will have gotten an invitation to everyone in Pantropa not from there originally. That's right, all of your OODs have, somehow, been tracked down and either personally handed or sent an invite!

The event starts with a party, hosted by Jack Skellington, held at the central plaza of the City Isles. Then, towards the end of the night, things are going to get a little spooky as some decorations go awry... And come alive!

The whole event is opt-in to a few levels: Of course, no one is obligated to tag any/all of their characters in. But if you'd like the party but not the danger, your characters can leave the party before that. Alternatively, have them not come visit until they hear the hubbub bound to come with the monsters!

The event will go live on Halloween, and will be 100% back-tag friendly!

Hello, guys, it's Frankie. I'll be bringing in two new characters over the course of this month, and I wanted to briefly introduce each for different reasons.

First, I'm going to talk about Pleakley (

mosquitoes) from the Lilo & Stitch franchise. There's no AU here, just some stuff that's ~~technically~~ headcanon. I write Pleakley as transfemale, and there's two things to note there:
1. This is a topic I take seriously and will broach with respect. A lot of this headcanon for Pleakley comes from conversations with a very close friend of mine, who is trans, if that adds to any comfort.
2. At the time of arrival in Pantropa, Pleakley will still generally be unaware that being transgender is, for lack of a better term, a possible thing - as such, I'll start off using masculine pronouns for the character.

Now, for the AU character I'm bringing in. If you're familiar with Steven Universe, you might be wondering why I'm posting with a Peridot account here when I already play Pearl. The answer is that the "version" of Peridot I'm bringing to D76 is an AU version of the character!

Specifically, I'll be playing Perdita Greene, a version of the Hogwarts AU for Peridot I created in my forum RP days. There's a link to her AU bio here, but tl;dr: She's a 15 year old Ravenclaw coming from a family of Ministry members; she looks like a preteen and is a huge nerd for Herbology.

I'm Zumi, and some of you already know me, but I'm excited to play with all of you~ I'm bringing in Scrooge McDuck, and while you (and some characters) may know him from Empatheias, I'm playing something a little different this time (though if you've seen him in Starhue you might be vaguely familiar already).

There's detailed AU information on his journal's nav post, but here's a convenient link and a tl;dr: He's basically a total AU that has him coming from a magic-based world, and while his history mostly lines up completely with the comics and 1987's DuckTales barring some setting-related tweaks, there's about 20 or so years extra tacked on after ~~though in typical PSL fashion it's only the last few, aka those being played, that've been TRULY eventful...~~ Of course, absolutely feel free to have your characters recognize him (either from Emp or as motherfuckin' SCROOGE McDUCK), it oughta be pretty interesting to see what happens.

Hi, everyone!

It's your mods' favorite time of year, which means that of COURSE, there are going to be Halloween Shenanigans! The Engine Room is hosting a Halloween Costume Party, and everyone staying at the Hotel Detritus will get an invitation slipped under their door. There are flyers advertising it at the Mercantile in the Badlands, as well, so no one will go uninvited!

The second part of the October festivities involves Pantropa's social media network ... which now has its own handy info post! You can read about the NOMO Network over here!

For those Otherworlders who are from planets, times, or places familiar with Halloween ... unfortunately, Pantropa is not familiar with it at all. There are enough Otherworlders around, though, that the Coalition has made some attempts to assimilate popular holidays from other cultures. This is their first attempt at Halloween ... and their proudest achievement?

Of course, there may just be other surprises in store for the season ... but that would be telling, wouldn't it?
